Nice to meet you!

Let me tell you a little more about myself as you search for a therapist who is the right fit for you.

As a career changer, I became a therapist after spending several years working in the hospitality industry. I have always been drawn to people and learning their stories. Therapy has allowed me to do that in a deeper, more fulfilling way. I also have personal experience as a family member to someone with significant mental health challenges which has given me a firsthand look into the systemic obstacles to accessing care. My curiosity and experience combined have allowed me the ability to guide and support clients in living a life they deem worth living.

I have extensive training in the modalities of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. These treatments are effective in helping clients address distressing thought patterns, understand and regulate their emotions, and develop healthier relationships. While these modalities inform a lot of the work I do, I use an integrative approach depending on your specific needs. I have a particular interest in working with survivors of trauma and those navigating major life transitions. I also am committed to ongoing learning of social justice issues to be able to affirm your identities and support you in managing chronic stress associated with marginalization.

My ultimate goal as a therapist is to create a safe, yet brave space for you to explore, reflect, and grow.
